Family Portrait
Jan 7&8 - 28&29
Week Three
Siblings
If you have a sibling, you’ve gotten in argument. That’s just a fact. No matter how much we may love our brothers and sisters, we don’t always get along. The same is true of our relationships with parents, cousins, friends, ANYONE! Join us this week to hear more about how God want’s us to view our relationships with our siblings.

True Christmas Story
Dec 3/4 - 17/18
Week Three
Joseph
Joseph Is a model of hearing from God and acting through faith in obedience. One of the most powerful parts of the story is that what God was telling Joseph to do really did not make sense. Sometimes God prompts us to do things that don’t make sense to us at the time … but will add up later. Joseph would have taken ridicule from his friends, family, everyone, for doing what he did. We’ll see you this week for our last weekend of the this series!
Week Two
Shepherds
What do you DO when you HEAR from God? The Shepherds heard from God and did something about it! This weekend, we’re looking at the story of the shepherds from the Christmas story. We’ll look at how we can follow their example, of taking action when go speaks, to our lives.
Week One
Angels
Does God still speak to us today? What does an Encounter with God look, feel, and sound like? This weekend, we’re going to explore how God speaks to us today in December 2011! He speaks through His Word – The Bible, His promptings as we pray and listen, and His plan through people and circumstances that he places in our lives. We’ll see you this weekend when we take a look at how God is speaking to us today.
Staying Weird
This Weekend
Week One
This Weekend!
This weekend we’ll be talking about what it looks like for us to stay “weird” in our every day lives. Sometimes it’s easy to come back from a retreat, and just let life go back to normal. But as we learned this last weekend, normal isn’t working. If you weren’t at Breakaway, don’t worry, we’ll sum it all up for you. Looking forward to being back in the gym this weekend with you all! Check out the highlight video below.
Now That’s a Good Question
OCT 8/9 - Oct 29/30
Week Three
What About Jesus?
A lot of people wonder if Jesus was who he said he was. This week we’ll look at evidence from in and outside of the bible that show that he really was!
Week Two
What's With All The Singing?
At Elevate we don’t just sing for the fun of it, or to show everyone around us how beautiful our voice sounds. The reason why we sing songs of worship at Elevate is to give praise and thanks for all that he has done for us!
Week One
Can I Trust The Bible?
The bible is made up of 66 books written over a span of 1500 years by about 40 different authors from all walks of life with varying occupations on 3 different continents in three different languages. But it’s message remains the same throughout the bible. So… how do we know we can take the bible seriously? That’s what we’ll be talking about this weekend at Elevate. Friend Request
September 17&18 - October 1&2
Week Three
Friendship Fail
Just like there are no “perfect people”, there is no “perfect friendship”. So what do you do when a friendship breaks down? The first thing to do is to figure out WHY the friendship has failed:
Some friendships break down because there’s a tough conversation that needs to be had.
Other friendships just fade because you’re a different person than you once were.
This weekend, come ready to be challenged to identify a friend who you’ve had a friendship fail with, and take a next step!
Week Two
What a Good Friend Looks LIke
Most would agree with the scripture when it says “friends should help”. But HOW? And how well are YOU doing at BEING a friend? We’ll take a look at what the Bible says about several characteristics of a Good Friend, according to the Bible.
If you want to get ahead on this message, Read Proverbs 17:17, and think on it this week.
Week One
How To Tell The Future
The friends you choose will actually Shape Your Future. Your friendship choices can pretty accurately predict the paths you’ll take & the choices you’ll make… and ultimately, WHO you’ll become! That might seem like and exaggeration, but it’s not. And because of that — you need to choose your crowd wisely!
