RELIGION OR RELATIONSHIP?

RELIGION OR RELATIONSHIP?

WEEK ONE: RELIGION OR RELATIONSHIP?

SEPT. 20/21

IT’S PARENTS WEEKEND IN ELEVATE!!
Join us and hear Scott launch our new message series, diving deeper into what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. Using the story of Jacob’s ladder from Genesis, Scott will teach students about what God really wants – to be with us!

Parents will have a small group of their own up in The Loft, and receive a coupon for a discounted book from Seeds Bookstore!

FRIENDING

FRIENDING

WEEK THREE: FRIENDSHIP FAIL

SEPT. 13/14

Just like there are no “perfect people,” there are no “perfect friendships.” So what do you do when a friendship breaks down? The first thing to do is figure out WHY the friendship has failed. Scott will help us understand the difference between when we just need to have a tough conversation or when some friendships have just faded, with some practical wisdom from Matthew 18:15-16.

WEEK TWO: HOW TO BE A GOOD FRIEND

SEPT. 6/7

Most would agree with the scripture when it says “Friends should help.” But HOW? And how well are YOU doing at BEING a good friend? We’ll take a look at what the Bible says about serveral characteristics of a “Good Friend,” from Proverbs 17:17. In your small group, you will have a chance to personally rank which of these characteristics we do best at and which of them might be the ones we should improve.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

AUG. 30/31

No Elevate service this weekend; students are invited to sit with their parents in the main service. We’ll see you back on September 6/7 for the second week of our FRIENDING series… And Small Groups!

WEEK ONE: HOW TO TELL THE FUTURE

AUG. 23/24

“Elevate SMALL GROUPS launch this weekend!!!! If you’ve never been a part of an Elevate small group before, you’re going to love it! We’re also launching a new series called “Friending”, and Scott’ll be teaching on “How to Tell the Future”… And how your friendships impact Who You’re Becoming. Be on time — the beginning of the service will be memorable!”

Outrageous

Outrageous Week 3

Aug 16/17, 2014

Every day we face tons of choices. Some are fun and easy, like “Should I eat pizza for breakfast or ice cream for dinner?” Of course the answer is YES! But other choices are more complicated and even extremely difficult. King Solomon knew what it was like to be faced with a difficult choice, and the outcome is outrageous. Join us as we wrap up our summer with Week 3 of the Outrageous series from 1 Kings 3.

Outrageous Week 2

August 9/10, 2014

Another OUTRAGEOUS weekend at Elevate this weekend… We’re going to be looking at a section of scripture that I’m betting you’ve never read before. (Ever heard of a left-handed guy named EHUD?) It’s from the book of Judges chapter 3 in the Bible – and it’s outrageous, and inspiring… And gross! But there’s also cool stuff we can learn from it, for sure. Even if you’ve never been to Elevate before, we can’t wait to see you!

Join us as we hear what the Prophet Elijah has to say to say us about courage, confidence and standing up for what we believe in.

Are We There Yet Week 1

May 31/June 1, 2014

This weekend, the one and only Gretchen Dedina will be kicking off our brand new series called “Are We There Yet?”  We learned to say our “please” and “thank you’s” as a little kid, but when was the last time you really showed how thankful you were?

When Jesus visits 10 lepers, something awesome happens – they are healed! But the majority of them just move on – they live like the majority of us. But there is ONE. One who chooses to live differently because of what Jesus did and changes his life thanking God for what happened. This weekend at Elevate we will be challenged by this to be the one who lives a life full of Thanks.

May We Risk

May We Risk

Memorial Day Weekend

May 24/25, 2014

Elevate will be joining the main stage this weekend!  Please sit with your family in the BIG HOUSE and hear Steve Carter give a message in the second week of our “RISK” series.  It is going to be AWESOME as he helps us think about those we need to take risks on and why it is in fact worth sharing our faith with our friends because of what God has done in our own lives.

Also, sign up for COLLIDE by clicking on the BANNER at the top of the page!  Seriously – sign up NOW!

See Yourself

May 17/18, 2014

See Yourself

See Yourself Week 1

May 17/18, 2014

Elevate is back this weekend with a BRAND NEW series!  The one and only director of Elevate, Scott Rubin, will be sharing how WE need to view ourselves in the same light that GOD views each and everyone of us.  A lot of times the window through which we view ourselves can get clouded and can skew our vision.  But God views us differently and we should spend more time focusing on who He is calling us to be!

Come and hang out with your small group in the LOFT!  It is going to be a BLAST!
